News, Reviews, and Interviews!
Kadman has had one heck of a June so far. We were honored to play the Beechfield's Label Leukemia benefit show at the Windup Space. This show marked the beginning of Kadman's next phase, introducing a two-man lineup consisting of myself (lead singer/songwriter/guitarist David Manchester) and new addition, percussion/guitarist Dan Cohan, one half of Baltimore's ridiculously amazing instrumental group, The Water. The two of us have been working together to re-imagine and re-orchestrate much of the existing Kadman catalog. This new super-duo has created something amazingly unique and memorable. If you don't believe me, just as Al Shipley. Al took some time to come and watch Kadman when they played The Velvet Lounge in Washington, DC. Read what he had to say right here!
In addition to all of this, I was invited to have a sit down and chat with one of DC's premier music blogs, All Our Noise, and stopped by Baltimore's WYPR radio along with Alex from A Cat Called Cricket and Mike Nestor from the Beechfields to talk about music, the Leukemia fundraiser, and to play a few songs in studio. I played a new song, so new, it doesn't have a name. Feel free to post your song title ideas on the WYPR page. Links available on our Press page.
