NEW REVIEW OF SING TO ME SLOWER
by the kind folks at Mobtown Studios

"Lazy Sunday afternoon recovery music. Minimalist shoegaze sleepytime music. It’s vulnerable. It’s not safe. I’m looking forward to giving this record some serious play in the fall. This record works..."

SING TO ME SLOWER - NOW AVAILABLE

"Sing To Me Slower" marks Kadman's first studio recording and features a blend of
spacious love songs and collages of sound. Featuring 11 songs, the album includes fan
favorites such as the propulsive "Diesel," the poignant "Honeymoon's End" and the Crazy
Horse guitar squalls of "sorry." Having the ability to experiment in the studio gave the band
an opportunity to redefine their view of "sadcore." By crafting and exploring new sounds based
on guitar loops and ambient soundscapes, the band was able to create a new foundation for songs such as "New Year's Day" and "Raise the Curtain." Sing To Me Slower is a warm and inviting record you will find makes for a comforting listen.

ABOUT KADMAN.

kadman, band photo, mitch, matt, dave

“…patient, melencholic, and slightly subdued.”

Influenced by the minimalist beauty of Low and the droning shoegazer elements of Yo La Tengo, the trio experiments with guitar loops and textures and has evolved into what is described as neo-american sadcore. Kadman is bolstered by the resonating vocals of frontman David Manchester carefully balanced with the the intricate, yet delacate bass lines of brother Mitch Manchester and the moody percussion of Matt Smith.
