Sing To Me Slower marks their first studio recording and features a blend of spacious love songs and collages of sound. Featuring 11 songs the album includes fan favorites such as the propulsive “Diesel,” the poignant “Honeymoon’s End” and the Crazy Horse guitar squalls of “Sorry.” Having the ability to experiment in the studio gave the band an opportunity to redefine their view of “sadcore.” By crafting and exploring new sounds based on guitar loops and ambient soundscapes the band was able to create a new foundation for songs such as “New Year’s Day” and “Raise The Curtain.” Sing To Me Slower is a warm and inviting record; you will find it makes for a comforting listen.

CD Release Party - March 14th

It's finally happening. We are pleased to announce the release of our debut CD, "Sing To me Slower" on Slo.Bor Media. We will be celebrating the release at the Metro Gallery on Friday, March 14th, performing live alongside The Water and Rain the Shining. Doors open at 8 p.m.

A Big Start to the New Year

2008 is barely underway and we already have some big news to announce.

LIVE February 8th:

Indie-rock meets electronic experimentation with another incredible night of music at one of Baltimore’s best indie-music venues. Kadman is joined by New York's Photovoltic/Dygn and Teletextile, as well as the renowned ambient/experimental artist jason.sloan, who will also be providing a video backdrop for Kadman's set to create a unique and memorable experience.

March 18th Release date for Sing to Me Slower

Kadman's debut album on Slo.Bor Media, will be released on Tuesday, March 18th. The album will be available through iTunes, eMusic, amazon.com and other online music stores, as well as through the Slo.Bor and Kadman websites. More soon, including the plans for our CD release party.

End of the year update

So, it seems that it's been a while since we've updated. Sorry for that. 2007 is coming to an end and we are thrilled with the way things are winding up. We had a fantastic show at The Red & The Black, and videos are up at our video page. The people there were great, the club is awesome, and the bartenders are fantastic. We are also entering the final stages on our first studio release, "Sing to me slower" through Slo.Bor Records. The CD will be available on many sites like iTunes and eMusic, as well as physical purchases through the Slo.Bor and Kadman websites. We're also hoping to have copies in the Baltimore shops like Record and Tape Traders and Soundgarden.... we're still working out the details on that, though. Jason and Damon at NP Studios in Towson have been great to work with, and we're very proud of what's coming out of it.

We are currently looking to put together our 2008 plan of attack. We'd love to come to Philly, New York, North Carolina, D.C., and of course, staying home in Baltimore. So, if you have any suggestions of places to play or want us to come to your home town, let us know and we'll see what we can figure out.

Friday, October 26th and Other Exciting News

Friday, October 26th, Kadman will be joined by the Texas-blues music of Justin Storms and the beguiling and beautiful stylings of Abby Mott, as heard on WYPR, at the new and improved Lo-Fi Social Club, 1825 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD.

This is going to be an amazing night of music. Justin has played with us before and we thought his sound was so creative and passionate we had to ask him back. As for Abby, well, we go way back. Abby and I have known each other for years and I always wanted to do a show with her. Now I am thrilled that she will be taking the stage with us next week. And, of course, Kadman brings their soulful, contemplative and serene compositions reminiscent of new-folk legends Iron & Wine combined with the electronic symplicity of Low, Dirty Three, and Yo La Tengo, to create a unique atmosphere and a personal bond with the audience. We have been pretty busy this fall, and miss being on stage. What better place to re-introduce ourselves than at the Lo-Fi, the club that helped us get our start.

In more exciting news, Kadman has been welcomed to the SLO.BOR Media family. SLO.BOR Media was started in 2002 by Matt Borghi and Jason Sloan and is known for their new media and conceptual art releases. They are expanding their musical roster with the addition of Kadman, and we are excited to be a part of their vision. With this new partnership, Kadman enters their next big phase, the studio.

We are presently working with NP Recording in Towson, Maryland, to put out our first full length studio CD. Recording is going swimmingly and, with the SLO.BOR label supporting us, the CD, "Sing to Me a Little Slower," will be available both in-store and on-line in early 2008.

More news, more dates, more excitement still to come in the later part of 2007 and into 2008. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you all at the Lo-Fi Social Club next week.

Big News is Coming

The summer is just about to an end. But don't be sad. With the changing leaves comes cooler weather, beautiful fall colors, and a bevy of news. Stay tuned as details are coming. But know that it's going to be big, and it's going to be exciting.
